My name is Gary Mendoza, and I've been a travel nurse for many years. In 2017, after watching cancellations rise, something in me snapped — so on April 26, 2017, I put my rusty web design skills to work.
Facilities and agencies track travelers to know who they want to avoid. Since they're tracking us, it's only fair we track them too. A month later, on May 24, 2017, I renamed the project from CancellationDatabase.com to GypsyReports.com, once it grew into more than just cancellations.
My goal is simple: get every healthcare traveler reporting to every database here, so we can all see the patterns and share our resources. One report might be a fluke, but more could be a pattern.
I've put a lot of time and money into this project, out of my own pocket. The only thing I ask: contribute your data, and tell your fellow travelers about it. It costs nothing, and it helps everyone.
